Rugby Touch will be a mixed team 18+.

Rugby 7s will be offered in the following categories: Men's  18+ Division 1 & 2, Men's 35+, Men's 45+ and Women's 18+.

Rugby at the WPFG is one of the most popular events and we are confident that the 7s matches will be truly international.

The venue for rugby (Touch & 7s) is Queen's Sport Upper Malone.
With a £20m investment, Queen's Sport Upper Malone has been transformed into a world-class centre. State-of-the-art floodlit grass pitches make it the perfect playing field. This venue is the only facility in the UK and Ireland that showcases the sports of rugby, Gaelic games and soccer on a singular platform.

FAQs

How many games will there be at the Games?
There will be a round robin tournament followed by a single elimination tournament.

What is the dress code?
Kit uniform in colour will conform to IRFB.

What footwear is permitted?
Boots may have studs (cleats); they must be circular, securely fastened and of the following dimensions: Maximum length - 21mm, Diameter at base - minimum 13mm and Diameter at top - minimum 10mm.
No steel studs are permitted.
