The venue for the Stair Race is the Obel Building.

The Obel building is a skyscraper located on Donegall Quay on the River Lagan which dominates Belfast's skyline. Costing £60 million and measuring 85 metres (279 ft) in height, the Obel Tower is recognised as one of Belfast's most well-known landmarks. The Obel consists of a 28-storey residential tower containing 233 apartments and adjoining office space.
