TCA is multi-discipline event consisting of 8 phases which have to be completed within one day's competition. The event is spread over 4 days to accommodate different age categories.
Phases of the event are as follows:
1) 5k Run
2) Shot Put
3) 100m Dash
4) 100m Swim
5) 20ft Rope Climb
6) Bench Press
7) Pull Ups
8) Obstacle Course
The event will take place at two separate venues. Athletes competing in the 5k, Shot Put 100m Dash and Obstacle Course will compete at Bangor Sportsplex.
Athletes competing in 100m Swim, Rope Climb, Bench Press and Pull Ups will compete at the Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure complex.
Transport will be provided for travel between the venues.
Athletes will receive details of start times and competition days for their particular age category with the confirmation letter.

This venue is a recently opened £38 million leisure facility in Bangor, just outside Belfast. It features Northern Ireland's first 50m international standard swimming pool, as well as a range of state-of-the-art leisure facilities.

Bangor Sportsplex
This venue is home to the highly successful North Down Athletics Club. The Sportsplex features an international eight-lane floodlit athletics track, which has hosted a number of high profile athletics events. As well as two full sized football pitches, Bangor Sportsplex offers a full size, floodlit, synthetic pitch and training area.

What date will my category be competing on?
The dates for individual categories competing have not as yet been finalised. Details will be contained in the confirmation letters sent out in May.
Is transport provided for travel from Belfast to Bangor?
There is transport for travel to Bangor from Belfast. An early morning service will be provided by a special bus, then later in the day by a scheduled train service.
Can I enter as an individual and in a team?
Yes, you can enter as an individual and in the team events.
What does the event consist of?
The event consists of - 5k Run, Shot Put, 100m Dash, 100m Swim, Rope Climb (20 ft. using arms only), Bench Press, Pull Ups (over hand) and an Obstacle Course (12 obstacles).
